About the MAXVAC MEDI 8
Some rooms simply ask more of an air purifier. Four stages, one clean breath
Air is drawn through a layered system rather than a single filter. A G3 pre-filter catches the big, obvious stuff — dust, hair, larger particles — so the finer filters aren't wasted on it. Next comes the heart of the machine: a true HEPA H13 filter that removes 99.995% of microparticles larger than 0.01 microns, the size range that includes pollen, fine dust, smoke particles and airborne microbes. An activated carbon layer then tackles odours and everyday fumes, the things you smell rather than see. Finally, a fully concealed UV-C stage helps disinfect the passing air as it moves through.
Powerful, but safe to sit beside
UV-C light is a well-established way to disinfect air, but it needs to be handled properly. In the MEDI 8 it's completely enclosed inside the unit and runs ozone-free, so it does its work on the air passing through without exposing anyone in the room. That means you can leave it running while people are present — at a desk, in a classroom, beside a treatment couch — without a second thought. With airflow of up to around 800 m³/h, variable to suit the moment, it has the muscle for bigger spaces while staying pleasant to be near.
Clever enough to leave alone
You shouldn't have to babysit a purifier. Intelligent auto mode reads the air and adjusts the fan speed for you, ramping up when a room fills and easing off when things settle. A sleep mode keeps it whisper-quiet overnight, a timer lets it run to a schedule, and a remote puts control in your hand from across the room.
